Our Skills 4 Life Programme is designed to equip young people with the key skills and support they need to build knowledge, gain confidence and raise aspirations. It aims to identify their “soft” skills, and develop their self-awareness, self-confidence and personal presentation, making a positive difference to their future prospects.
We provide a wide range of fun and engaging activities and workshops such as; Skills based workshops, (both educational and motivational) aimed around developing core skills, Mentoring and coaching sessions, (both one to one and group sessions) and seminars delivered by experts within various fields.
These workshops are designed to develop skills such as: effective communication, team building, leadership skills, business acumen, presentative skills, and much more.
The knowledge and skills young people gain in Life Skills complement what they explore as part of our Employability programme. They can reflect on their strengths, interests and personality, explore their journey towards work and learn how to sell their skills in CVs, applications and interviews.
