Booster Classes
At The Future Focus Network, we believe access to good quality education should be available to everyone, not just the privileged few.
Our Education and Skills Development Programme provides a vital lifeline to many young people in helping to level the playing field and ensure that they do not fall behind academically due to circumstances that are beyond their control. The Covid-19 pandemic has shone a light on the unequivocal disadvantages that many young people, particularly those from BAME and socio-economically deprived communities experience: not only in terms of health inequality, but also educational inequality. Although the government has promised additional funding to try and help “plug the educational gap”, our own research suggests that much more needs to be done to ensure that young people do not get left behind.
Young people in education should be supported and encouraged to ensure they make informed and sensible decisions about their future. We actively work with young people to help them make these decisions by holding regular seminars, workshops and drop in sessions offering a valuable insight into the world of higher education, the various options and routes available, positive encouragement, support and impartial advice. This is a valuable service that many schools and colleges are simply not providing.
We provide after-school tuition to children aged 7 to 16 in English, Maths and Science, both at our centre and online. Our educational support is highly regarded in the community, and many students have significantly benefitted from our academic support. We have access to a considerable range of resources and printed material.
Our robust recruitment process ensures that our teaching staff have a minimum 12 months’ teaching experience, ordinarily graduates from “redbrick” universities with a degree or studying in the area in which they teach. All staff are DBS checked and verified. Many of our former staff have gone on to great careers in Teaching, Medicine, Law and Accounting/Finance.
We provide high quality supplementary educational support to children struggling with low concentration or poor attainment levels at school. We run weekly after school classes, booster courses and homework clubs to help young people with schoolwork and exam revision. We cover Primary Level (key stage 1 and 2) and specialise in English and Maths.
Our weekly classes are held at fully equipped classrooms and run by qualified and fully vetted teaching staff at Education Centres and Schools in East London.
If your child:
– Is struggling with low concentration and attainment levels at school;
