Find A Future Worth Working For
Helping young BAME women across North & East London navigate a path towards a successful future
The Career Link Project (CLP) is a FREE Employment and Careers Service that provides up to 10 months of personalised, one-to-one support to young BAME women who need a helping hand to get them on to the right path to a successful future.
With the support of a dedicated Careers Advisor we will help you get prepared, gain confidence and learn the skills you need to get into employment, education or training.
Benefits of The CLP project:
Our aim is to support BAME women into employment, education or training.
Activities included but not limited to
- General advice and guidance
- One-to-one career mentoring
- Employment related support (including CV writing, interview skills, application forms, application tests, job hunt and more)
- Regular training and workshops (including skills oriented workshops i.e. creative writing,
public speaking, introduction to IT, program specific training, LinkedIn profile set up and more
- Financial management and budgeting guidance and support
- Career advice and career path development
- Job brokerage
- Education and training brokerage
- Skills development recreational workshops (including sports, gardening, music, art, online business set up, YouTube and more)
Are you eligible?
The CLP is open to BAME women who have the right to live and work in the UK and who meet the following criteria:
– Ages 16 or over
– Live in North or East London
– From the BAME community
– Not in education, employment or training
