What we do
Supporting and challenging young people to become the best they can be
The Future Focus Network was set up in 2013 by a group of young professionals who became increasingly concerned about the prospects of young people from the area, who have great potential, but few opportunities to make the most of it.
We offer a range of support services that are focused primarily on addressing social inequalities; whether that’s in education, employment or skills development. We do this by offering a range of community-based activities including:

activities including:
- Weekly after-school sessions for children struggling with their studies, particularly those who have been significantly impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic. Since 2015, we have helped over 350 struggling students.
- Regular skills development and extra-curricular workshops
- Careers Support to unemployed the BAME communities
- Social Action Projects for young BAME people
- Regular sports, fitness and mental wellbeing sessions
- Leadership and Coaching Training for future leaders in the community
- Leadership and Coaching Training for future leaders in the community
- We also undertake public consultations to better understand the needs and challenges faced by the BAME community we work with and the root causes of some of the social problems, (over 300 people have taken part in our consultations since 2017
